Encrypted in transit or on the provider’s disk does not mean the provider cannot read it. The question is who holds the key.
Backup and sharing
Server-side encryption or an encryption app are additions. Read which one is actually on. A Nextcloud at a friend’s place remains readable by that friend if they administer the server.
SecuFocus did not measure speed or restore. Upload a test file, delete it, restore it, and only then the originals.
